It was a sad day today as the most popular Indian tech-blog, around 7 years old one, was hacked. Worst of all, all the content was deleted.

Buffett on pessimism & mis-pricing

The most common cause of low prices is pessimism - some times pervasive, some times specific to a company or industry. We want to do business in such an environment, not because we like pessimism but because we like the prices it produces. It's optimism that is the enemy of the rational buyer.

How to Google more efficiently

Some nice tricks to improve your searches on Google. I didn't know about some of these power-symbols like:

~review to include related words, such as “check, examine, opinion”.

* distribution to replaces itself with common terms in your search.

2010..2012 - Shows all results from within the specified time-range.

$100..$200 - gives you results based on a range from $100 to $200.

Web SSH Client & Terminal Emulator

While on Linux, SSH is just an Alt+F2 away, on windows it is a little complex job. This is a handy Chrome Extension, by Google Team itself, to let windows users access SSH client (or emulate Terminal) through their browsers.
